Your day begins with a scenic drive through the Canungra Valley and eucalyptus forests, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the city and coast.

 

We’ll stop in the charming Canungra Village for morning tea at a local café before continuing our journey through the valley to the summit of the World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, home to the largest continuous subtropical rainforest in the world.

Upon arrival at O’Reilly’s, your experienced local guide will lead you on a treetop walk, offering a bird’s-eye view of the lush rainforest below. Following this, you’ll be treated to the unforgettable Birds of Prey show, where you'll witness the awe-inspiring aerial acrobatics of kites, eagles, and owls in their natural element. Don’t forget to snap an Instagram-worthy photo with one of your feathered friends after the show.

On the way back, we’ll make a final stop at Kamarun Lookout, where you can capture stunning panoramic photos of the Scenic Rim and Gold Coast. The return trip provides the perfect opportunity to relax and take in the spectacular mountain and valley views before arriving back on the coast.

Tour Pricing: $300 for two people and $110 for each additional person.

Inclusions: Guided Rainforest Walk. Bird of Prey show at O’Reilly's National Park.  Snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, beach towels. Private return transfers from Gold Coast Pick-Up and Drop Off.​ Additional food and beverages purchased at Canungra Village or O Reilly's are not included in the ticket price.

Pick-up Time & Location

08:30am: Pick-up at your Gold Coast Hotel 

10:30am: Arrive at O Reilly's in Lamington National Park 

2:00pm: Kamarun lookout 

3:30 am: Arrive back at your Gold Coast Hotel ​

 

Tour Duration: 7 hours and 30 minutes approx.

Return to Gold Coast between 3:00pm and 3:30pm.

You can be returned to any destination on the Gold Coast of your choice.

What to bring:

Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, rain jacket, hat, water bottle (filled with water).

Additional note: 

All our vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellent and first aid kits. This tour is NOT suitable for children under five years of age (no exceptions). Day bags and small travel bags can be accommodated. Please note however, there is limited storage space in the vehicle. Therefore, we can't guarantee large luggage items can be stored in the vehicle. All luggage and personal items are taken on tour exclusively at your own risk. No compensation will be available for lost or stolen items. 

 

Access:

The tour involves some walking. The longest walk is about twenty minutes on well-maintained track and requires a moderate degree of fitness. The track is not suitable for people with mobility impairment or infants.  Enclosed shoes must be worn.

Ticket Refund:

Wyldside may alter or cancel any section of any of the itinerary which may result from road closures, bad weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature. Tickets will be refunded in full if the tour must be cancelled for any reason.

However, no refunds will be offered for tickets unless the tour is cancelled and tickets are not transferable. ​
