Discover the natural wonders and waterfalls of the pristine and picturesque World Heritage Rainforests of Springbrook National Park, explore ancient wonders of Natural Bridge and Purling Brook Falls located just a short drive from the Gold Coast. Enjoy spectacular vistas and the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, breathe in the fresh air and see a selection of the most spectacular treasures the hinterland has to offer.

As we depart the Gold Coast, we commence with a short drive through the charming Numinbah Valley with its high cliffs and green country pastures as we make our way to the World Heritage listed Springbrook National Park to explore ancient Gondwana rainforest with forests dating back over 2000 years.​

 

At our first stop we will take you on a guided walk to Natural Bridge waterfall while accompanied by your expert local guide. Learn about the unique flora and fauna of the rainforest as you make your way through the eucalypt trees to the waterfall. From inside the cave witness the spectacle of water cascading through the roof of the basalt cave which has been formed over millions of years.

Next, we will head to Best of All lookout positioned on the edge of an extinct 23-million-year-old volcano, with sweeping views across the valley towards the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Mount Warning. The walk to this magnificent lookout takes you through one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Antarctic Beech Forest which date back over 2000 years, standing as a living legacy of the ancient forests of Gondwana.

Our last stop is Canyon lookout with its sweeping vista over Springbrook Park, Twin Falls and entry point to explore Purling Brook falls. There is also an opportunity after we visit the falls to grab a tea, coffee or snack at a local café before the ride home.​

 

The return journey to the Gold Coast provides sweeping views of the Coast and surrounding mountain ranges. The tour concludes with a return drop off at Surfers Paradise, Broad Beach or alternatively we can drop you off at Movie World.

Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, rain jacket, hat, water bottle (filled with water).

Additional note: 

All our vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellent and first aid kits. This tour is NOT suitable for children under five years of age (no exceptions). Please note there is NO luggage/pram/stroller storage in the vehicle. A small personal day backpack can be accommodated.

Access: 

The tour involves some walking. The longest walk is about twenty minutes on well-maintained track and requires a moderate degree of fitness. The track is not suitable for people with mobility impairment or infants.  Enclosed shoes must be worn.

Ticket Refund:

Wyldside may alter or cancel any section of any of the itinerary which may result from road closures, bad weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature. Tickets will be refunded in full if the tour must be cancelled for any reason.

However, no refunds will be offered for tickets unless the tour is cancelled and tickets are not transferable. ​
